We are looking for expressions of interest from experienced Water Treatment Plant Operators to join our Team in the Bowen Basin, on a lifestyle friendly 8/6 roster, paid flights from Brisbane and the opportunity to work with 2 industry leaders.
This role will see you maintain our client’s assets safely and to the highest of standards.
The Position
- Primary duties: Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations & Maintenance
- Secondary duties: Repairs and maintenance tasks requisite to skill set / trade qualifications as applicable.
- Initiative-taking demonstration of commitment to Zero Harm safety culture
- Performing work in a safe manner, abiding by our safe work procedures, instructions, and safety management practices
- Use safety equipment and personal protective equipment as provided.
- Participate in the call out roster and attend emergency call outs as required.
- Proactively work to improve processes through continuous improvement and innovation.

Minimum Criteria
- Cert III in Water Operations {Water Treatment}
- Open QBCC Plumbers License {desirable but not essential}
- Current Open Driver’s License
- Construction White Card (CPCCOHS1001A - Work safely in the construction industry or CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) – card must be issued after 2015 to be accepted
- Knowledge of safety issues relevant to the industry and a commitment to safe working practices
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to determine resource and material requirements and manage multiple activities at the same time.
