About Us:

We are looking for a passionate Site Manager with a Chef background to lead our small Energy & Resources village services operations at our remote West Musgrave site in regional Western Australia an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster (from Perth). This unique role combines leadership and culinary skills, as you’ll drive quality outcomes for our clients while also stepping into the kitchen to support your team when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and be responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation.
  • Establish an inclusive, collaborative team culture centered on respect and continuous improvement, with hands-on kitchen assistance as required.
  • Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire kitchen team to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines.
  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are of the highest standard and take corrective action where appropriate if standards are not met.
  • Engage the team in training programs to strengthen skills and maintain high standards in client service, industry compliance, and safety.
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant legislation, ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, and document all efforts as required by law or industry standards.
  • Uphold health and safety as the top priority in all site operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Approximately three years of leadership experience.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
  • Manual Unrestricted Driver’s License.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team or independently when needed.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Financial and budgeting acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
