Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Workplace Partner team, employed on a full-time basis. This collaborative role requires you to use your interpersonal, project and workplace management expertise to shape an efficient workplace, based on site, five days a week, in the Melbourne CBD.

Our Workplace Partners play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimising the workplace environment. You will serve as the primary liaison to assigned business units within the larger workplace, bringing the workday experience to life by delivering exceptional experiences and service to all office users. You will be tasked with optimising the workplace for comfort, productivity, and efficiency, while overseeing coordination, planning, and delivery of minor workspace moves, as well as monitoring soft services standards like cleaning and maintenance.  All while providing innovative insights and solutions to drive continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in office and workplace management, however demonstrated skills in effective communication and excellent stakeholder and project management skills are more highly desired. You embody our values and prioritise outstanding service. Whilst you will work closely with a prominent national client in the banking sector, you will also gain great alignment and exposure to our ISS Global Workplace Experience team. This role is based in Melbourne.  The nature of the work means working in the office 5 days a week with early starts (preferably). Similarly, please note flexible working arrangements cannot be offered.

 

The Position:

  • Provide excellent and engaging Customer Service to client stakeholders whilst delivering on client expectations
  • Take the lead in coordinating and project managing workspace moves, changes and transitions
  • Ensure workplace functionality is optimised by ensuring work, collaboration and break-out areas as well as meeting rooms are all issue-free on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the safety cultures: E.g., Incident Reporting/Hazard Identification/Client-specific safety systems and requirements.
  • Ensure cleaning and maintenance tasks are raised and completed, from initiation to resolution.
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for process improvement, actively engaging in the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process flows to facilitate consistent and optimised operations.

Minimum Criteria:

  • 3 years’ experience in Workplace/Facilities Management (preferred or excellent demonstrated skills in the below)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholder relationships and small projects
  • MS Office suite proficiency required.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Solution- focused, a team player, excellent time management with a developed ability to prioritize and manage tasks.
  • Willing to complete background/probity check (National Police Check, ASIC – financial services)
